DESCRIPTION The Aede cuff is an elegant chain maille wristpiece that transforms a simple circular opening into a dramatic triangular drape across the hand. Constructed from a fluid fabric of individually handcrafted links, the bracelet expands gracefully from the wrist, creating a striking interplay between geometric structure and soft movement.
Although made entirely from sterling silver, the cuff behaves more like a textile than a piece of metal. Lightweight, flexible and responsive, it moves beautifully with the wearer, shifting and settling with an unexpected fluidity. This sense of transformation is central to the piece, revealing the remarkable potential of chain construction to create surfaces that are both strong and soft.
Every link is individually formed, soldered, hammered and finished by hand, creating a highly durable construction designed to last a lifetime. The repetitive chain structure establishes a distinctive rhythm and texture, while the expanding form highlights the beauty that can emerge from a single repeated element.
The Aede cuff slips comfortably over the hand and is available in hallmarked sterling silver or oxidised silver. It can also be commissioned in other precious metals. Available in a range of sizes; if your size is not listed, please get in touch.
SIZING To determine your size, measure around the widest part of your hand with your thumb tucked in, as shown in the photograph. Use a soft tape measure or a piece of string. If you prefer, I can send you a paper sizing guide – simply email me to request one.
Take the measurement as tightly as is comfortable. This hand measurement corresponds to the sizes listed in the options menu. For example, a hand measurement of 19cm requires a Size 34 bracelet.
The size number refers to the number of jump rings that make up the circumference of the bracelet. For the best fit, the bracelet should be as small as possible while still comfortably passing over the hand. If your measurement falls between sizes, I recommend choosing the smaller size.
Alterations are provided free of charge should the bracelet require adjustment after receipt.

DELIVERY Please allow 21 days for delivery as all the jewellery is made to order. If you require something sooner please contact me as I might have one in stock and I am always happy to meet your deadlines wherever possible.
SHIPPING is free within the UK, I use Royal Mail 'Special Delivery' and Tracked 24 services. For International I use Royal Mail 'International Tracked and Signed' or DHL Courier, this is a flat rate of £20. Each customer is responsible for any potential import fees levied by their countries border control.
