Lockhart double loop necklace

DESCRIPTION The Lockhart double loop necklace is incredibly versatile. It is two separate chain loops which can be worn each individually, or combined in different ways as shown in the images.
Entirely handmade chain, each link is formed, joined, soldered and then the surface of each loop is gently hammered to add strength and give the chain a subtle faceted surface which catches the light beautifully.
A very durable chain built to last.
Available in Argentium silver which is tarnish resistant, oxidised silver and 14ct rolled gold.

Rolled gold, which is also known as gold filled is a material that has 1/20th of 14ct gold content by weight. The material is made by pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14ct gold to a core of high quality jeweller's brass, creating a durable material which has a high quantity of gold. Rolled gold must have at least 5% gold content, this is a much thicker layer than gold plated jewellery. Rolled gold has around 100 times more gold than gold plated jewellery, this thick layer of gold does not wear off. Rolled gold is hypoallergenic and should not cause a problem for anyone with skin sensitivities.

Each necklace is a continuous loop and measures 70cm. The diameter of the chain is 10mm.
