Lockhart triple loop necklace

DESCRIPTION The Lockhart triple loop necklace is a beautiful tactile statement necklace. It is three individual chain loops which are linked together. The necklace can be worn in two different ways as shown in the images.
Entirely handmade chain, each link is formed, joined, soldered and then the surface of each loop is gently hammered to add strength and give the chain a subtle faceted surface which catches the light beautifully.
A very durable chain built to last.
The necklace is made from silver, oxidised silver and 14ct rolled gold.

Rolled gold, which is also known as gold filled is a material that has 1/20th of 14ct gold content by weight. The material is made by pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14ct gold to a core of high quality jeweller's brass, creating a durable material which has a high quantity of gold. Rolled gold must have at least 5% gold content, this is a much thicker layer than gold plated jewellery. Rolled gold has around 100 times more gold than gold plated jewellery, this thick layer of gold does not wear off. Rolled gold is hypoallergenic and should not cause a problem for anyone with skin sensitivities.

The length of the necklace when worn long is approximately 90cm, and when worn short 68cm.

For International I use Royal Mail 'International Tracked and Signed', this is a flat rate of £10.
